Broadband issues are being reported from a number of schools this morning. We are worklng to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will
We started on this journey by supporting private customers and using it as a part time income earner. Working on the kitchen table as the office and the lounge full of boxes for all the customer deliveries, we worked hard to grow the business.
We still retain many of our original customers. Our name and reputation for great customer support, unbiased advice and always going the extra mile, soon spread.
We were asked to support schools with their ICT and won a long term contract with Suffolk County Council.
We are a small family business with an ethical, professional approach to running our company. We look after our staff, providing well being opportunities, career progression and investment in skills and people. We hold regular staff meetings so we can get together and keep morale high.
We firmly believe if we invest in our staff, we succeed and our customers succeed
Our offices are now based in the beautiful surroundings at Ketteringham Hall. This not only affords us more space for our ever growing team, but also helps our staff with their well being.
Lewis joined our relatively new company back in March 2011 as a young apprentice whilst he undertook a NVQ : Level 2 ICT Professional Course. Ten years later, he has risen through the ranks to become a director of J C Comtech. An incredible achievement! His early years saw him working with us for just 2 days a week whilst he studied and gradually built up his hours as his knowledge and skills grew. By January 2012, he had successfully completed the apprenticeship and came on board full-time as an IT Field Engineer in April 2012. With hard work, tenacity and with a natural skill in customer service; Lewis flourished. For 6 years he worked tirelessly to improve IT standards and professional relations with schools and colleagues alike. By 2018, he was promoted to Senior Engineer where he successfully managed schools, guided apprentices whilst continuing to lay foundations and encouraging new business. In 2021, he was recognised again and duly promoted to Service Director. He is still actively involved in supporting schools as an Engineer and continues to establish great working relationships. His aims are simple: to provide all our Customers with an IT strategy which not only works for them but keeps them modern, up to date and secure!
